Alburnett Children's Benefit Day

Alburnett Children's Benefit Day is organized by the Alburnett
Diamond Club to benefit community children in need. The annual event is held in
downtown Alburnett on the first Saturday in August.
The 2010 Benefit Day is slated to be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010.

8:00 am - 9:45 am - Pancake Breakfast at Farmers State Bank Parking Lot. Sponsored by the Alburnett Community School District Foundation. Cost: $5 per adult, $3 for kids 12 and under.

8:00 am - Pirate Dash, 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run. Sponsored by the Alburnett Community School District Foundation. Registration 7:00 - 7:45 am. Participants may also join Todd Neighbor of Physiotherapy Associates for warm-up/stretching prior to the race. Free pancake breakfast with race entry/number! Post race massages available from a licensed therapist. $25 day of race, sign up before July 30th for early discounted registration. Pirate Dash Registration Form

9:00 am - Bake Sale in Rockwood Store. Sponsored by the Alburnett Historical Society.

9:00 am - 4:00 pm - Silent Auction at Rockwood Store. Please check bids at 4:30.
The Rockwood store will remain open to the public until 10:00 pm (A/C and public restrooms available). -
10:00 am - Children's Benefit Day Parade - No four wheelers

11:00 am - 4:00 pm - H&H Fun Rides

After parade until 1:00 pm- Bingo, next to Farmers State Bank. Sponsored by the Alburnett Community School District Foundation.

12:00 Noon - Horseshoe Tournament

4:00 pm - Mud Tug-of-War Compete for fun, sponsored by Mike's and Mahoney's.

8:00 pm to Midnight - Street Dance, music by "Ramblin' Fever"

Raffle drawing during intermission at street dance.

Food and Beer Tent all day long, Dairy Queen cart, funnel cakes.
Information booth will have Benefit Day t-shirts and raffle tickets for sale all day.
