Library

The City of Alburnett works with the Center Point Public Library to provide library access to our residents.

Library cards are free and give you access to the complete collection of books, magazines, newspapers, and electronic resources. For additional information about the Center Point Public Library, including news, announcements, and a calendar of upcoming library events, go to: https://www.centerpoint.lib.ia.us or visit the Center Point Library Facebook Page.

Returns: If you would like to have the city return your library materials to the Center Point Public Library, please utilize the blue “Book Drop” drop box located at 120 N Main Ave in front of the old fire station. We will work to get the materials returned as quickly as possible. Please note that you may get a past due notice from the library in the interim, but there are no late fees assessed on late returns.

Hold Pick-ups: If you would like your items to be picked up by the city and available for you to pick up at City Hall, please let the Center Point Library know by either contacting them (319-849-1509) or notating “City of Alburnett Pick Up” in the comments section when placing a hold online. The city will work with the Center Point Library to ensure these items are picked up in a timely manner and will then have these available for you to pick up at City Hall during our normal business hours.
